How does Trust Performance suspension work?

Trust Performance suspension is unlike anything you’ve likely seen or ridden. We’ve introduced new technology to the suspension space and want to make sure you’re well-versed in how it all works and what it does to improve your ride. How do I set up my Trust Performance suspension?

We’ve gone to great length to design a product that is incredible easy to set up. That said, if something just doesn’t seem right or you can’t find what you’re looking for from spending time with our product manuals and browsing the website, please reach out and we’ll be happy to walk you through it.

How do I register my Trust Performance product?

If you did not use the product registration form at the time of purchase, please visit the registration page of the website to register your product.

Can I use a Shock Wiz or similar device?

No.  

How do I know if my bike is compatible?

Before you place an order, you’ll want to make sure your bike accepts Trust Performance suspension. We’ve designed our suspension to be compatible with nearly all 29” x 2.6" (762 x 66) max or 27.5” x 2.8" (744 x 78) max disc brake mountain bikes with traditional tapered head tubes. The suspension also performs best on bikes designed around 120mm to 140mm of travel, but we’ve pushed the limits in either direction with surprising success. If you want to run the suspension on a non-tapered head tube or have a different bike setup in mind, call or email us to talk through your options.

Where can I take a test ride?

The best way to experience Trust Performance products is at a Trust Performance demo event. Upcoming events and demos are posted to our social media. Follow there to keep up to date on what we’re doing and where we’re at. If you don’t see an event in your area, please send us a message on social, email us or give us a call to let us know if there is an opportunity you feel would be a good fit for Trust Performance. We’re happy to have our demo team participate in events where we can.

 

SERVICE AND REPAIR

What maintenance do I need to perform?

Trust Performance suspension products require service intervals every 250 hours of riding. That’s right, nearly 5x longer than your traditional telescopic setup. All of our product manuals and detailed maintenance instructions can be found in the manuals section of the site. If something isn’t clear or you have a more detailed tech question, give us a call or send us an email at support@trustperformance.com.

General Maintenance

If you have an issue that needs to be addressed in person or need repairs or replacement of consumable items, we’re here to make sure your suspension is at its best. Get in touch with us and we’ll arrange for the Trust Performance team to review your issue. Meanwhile, be sure to check out our articles on maintaining the suspension yourself.

Suspension Repair

If your Trust Performance product is in need of repair, we’re happy to take a look. To have your suspension serviced by us, give us a call at 801-396-7730 or send an email to support@trustperformance.com and we’ll begin a return process. Once we receive the suspension and have the opportunity to conduct our review, we will get in touch to review next steps. Suspension requiring a full teardown and rebuild starts at $100 and does not include replacement of damaged parts or return shipping.

How should I clean my Trust suspension?

When cleaning your Trust Performance suspension, wash by hand using a soft brush or sponge with mild soap and water solution. As with most pivot locations, do not use a high power sprayer directly toward the moving linkage, as the added pressure can penetrate bushings, seals and bearings.

Trust Performance makes the best suspension on the planet, and we stand behind that. If you ride Trust Performance, we like to think you’re part of our family. So, if something goes wrong, call, email, message or visit us and we’ll do everything we can to make it right.

2 Year Limited warranty, Lifetime Bearings, Discounted Major Accident Coverage.

Trust Performance exists to make a better ride. Part of that is delivering products that are built to withstand the toughest of riding conditions. If they don’t, you’ll be covered. To accomplish that, we offer a limited two year warranty to the original owner, along with a lifetime warranty on our bearings. Additionally, Trust Performance offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner for forks that fail due to impact with a garage door, low overhead clearance or whatever other unfortunate end may come to your Trust Performance suspension. In instances where portions of the suspension are salvageable, we’ll offer you discounted replacement parts. No asterisks.

To submit a warranty claim, simply email support@trustperformance.com with your product’s serial number, description of the issue and photographs. To be eligible the product must first be registered.

Returns

If you’re not satisfied with our products, we will set up a full refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. This policy only applies to products bought directly from Trust Performance. Check out our general company FAQ page for the full returns policy and process. If you purchased from a dealer, you’ll need to check with them for their return policy.
